Official Competition Rules

Last updated: 2026-07-10

FREE TO ENTER. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. This is a skill-based contest: winners are determined solely by objective performance scoring, not by chance. Void where prohibited by law.

1. Scope

These Official Rules (the "Rules") govern each recurring skill-based trading competition run by PredictFundr on its practice trading environment (each, a "Competition"), unless a specific Competition's announcement expressly states different rules. Each Competition's title, start and end times, minimum activity threshold to rank, and specific prize are stated on the Competition page at app.predictfundr.com/compete and/or its announcement (the "Announcement"). The Announcement and these Rules together form the complete rules for that Competition. By entering, you agree to these Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Competition.

2. Sponsor

Each Competition is sponsored by PredictFundr (the "Sponsor"). Each Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with X (Twitter), Meta Platforms, Inc. (including Threads and Instagram), Discord, or any other platform, and each entrant fully releases each such platform. Any questions, comments, or complaints must be directed to the Sponsor at [email protected], not to any platform.

3. Skill-Based Contest: How Winners Are Determined

This is a contest of skill. Chance plays no part in selecting winners. Each entrant's standing is computed from their own trading decisions on the practice account by a single, disclosed, objective formula, applied identically to every entrant:

  • Realized return percentage. Each entrant is ranked by the realized return earned on their practice account during the Competition window (the entrant's realized profit and loss over the window, divided by the account balance recorded at the moment the entrant joined the Competition, expressed as a percentage). Trading fees are applied to realized results exactly as they are on every practice account.
  • Minimum closed trades to rank. To appear on the ranked leaderboard, an entrant must complete at least the minimum number of closed (realized) trades stated for that Competition on the Competition page. Entrants below that threshold are shown as unranked and are not eligible to win, so that a single lucky position cannot top the board.
  • Scoring window. Only trading activity that occurs within the Competition window (from the later of the Competition start time or the entrant's join time, through the Competition end time) is counted. All window times are published and enforced in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.

Ties in realized return percentage are broken first by the greater number of closed trades in the window, then by the earlier Competition join time. The leaderboard shown on the Competition page reflects the current standings; final standings are computed from this same formula after the Competition ends.

4. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater).
  • You must reside in a jurisdiction where the PredictFundr Service is available and where a skill-based contest of this type is permitted by law. Each Competition is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Residents of any jurisdiction in which the Service is not available, or in which a skill contest of this type requires registration or bonding that the Sponsor has not completed, are not eligible.
  • Employees, officers, and contractors of the Sponsor and their immediate family and household members are not eligible.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your participation is lawful where you reside. Entrants who cannot lawfully use the prize are not eligible to win it.

5. Free Entry: How to Enter

Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. To enter, open the practice trading environment at app.predictfundr.com/terminal, place at least one practice trade, and submit the entry form on the Competition page at app.predictfundr.com/compete during the Competition window with a display handle and a contact (a Discord or X handle at which the Sponsor can reach you to deliver a prize). Buying, or not buying, a PredictFundr evaluation has no effect on your entry or your standing.

One entry per person. Each person may enter a given Competition once. Operating or entering through multiple practice accounts, multiple handles, or multiple contacts to gain an advantage (and any form of collusion, self-dealing, coordinated trading between accounts, or manipulation of the scoring) is prohibited and is grounds for disqualification. The Sponsor may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes violates these Rules and remove it from the standings.

6. Practice Account: Fine Print

The Competition is scored entirely on the PredictFundr practice account: a simulated practice environment in which no real money is deposited, wagered, or paid out and no real orders are sent to any venue. Practice results are for the Competition and for skill demonstration only, have no monetary value, and do not represent actual trading, a funded account, or any guarantee of future results. The practice account and its rules are described in the PredictFundr Terms of Service and Risk Disclosure.

7. Prize

Unless the Announcement states otherwise, the prize for each Competition is a promotional code for 99% off one (1) PredictFundr trading evaluation of a size specified in the Announcement. To activate the evaluation the winner pays only a nominal activation charge of approximately 1% of the evaluation's price (for example, roughly US$0.45–US$4.79 depending on the tier). The approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize does not exceed US$500 and equals the discount conferred (99% of the then-current published price of the specified evaluation). The number of prizes is stated on the Competition page.

  • The prize is a promotional discount code only. It is not cash, has no cash value, and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • Winning an evaluation does not guarantee passing it, a funded account, or any payout. All standard Terms of Service and the published rulebook apply to the evaluation.
  • The prize code must be redeemed within 7 days of issuance and is subject to the eligibility and identity requirements in the Terms of Service.
  • Any taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable.

8. Winner Verification and Notification

After a Competition ends, the Sponsor computes the final standings from the objective formula in Section 3 and identifies the highest-ranked eligible entrant(s). Each potential winner is notified within 7 days at the contact they provided at entry. A potential winner must respond within 7 days of notification to verify their identity and eligibility (including confirming that the notified contact and the winning entry belong to the same person) and to claim the prize. If a potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond in time, is found ineligible or in violation of these Rules, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible entrant in the final standings at the Sponsor's discretion.

9. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry or scoring process, violates these Rules, acts in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner, or attempts to enter or win by fraudulent means (including multiple accounts, collusion, or automated manipulation). The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify any Competition if fraud, technical failure, or any factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Competition. A winner's display handle and standing may be featured in Sponsor content (for example, a branded standings card), consistent with the Privacy section below.

10. Publicity and Privacy

Entrants choose a public display handle, which is shown publicly on the leaderboard and may be used by the Sponsor, together with the entrant's standing and realized return, for promotional purposes on Sponsor channels, without further compensation, except where prohibited. The contact you provide at entry is used only to notify and verify winners and to deliver prizes; it is not shown publicly. Information collected from entrants is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The Sponsor does not sell entrant information.

11. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, you release the Sponsor and the platforms from any claim, liability, or damage arising out of or relating to participation in the Competition or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical failures of any kind. The prize is awarded "as is" without warranty of any kind.

12. Winners List

To request the display handle of a Competition winner, email [email protected] with the subject "COMPETITION WINNER REQUEST" and the name of the Competition within 60 days after the Competition ends.

13. Governing Law

These Rules and any dispute arising out of or relating to a Competition are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PredictFundr is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and are subject to the dispute-resolution terms of the Terms of Service. All applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply.
